Reading Partners

Reading Partners is a nonprofit literacy organization that recruits and trains community volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring to students in under-resourced schools across the country. Our highly-effective program has helped thousands of children master the fundamental reading skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.  In Charleston last year, we successfully served over 400 children in 9 different schools with 71% of our students improving their rate of learning. For more information, or to sign up to volunteer, please visit www.readingpartners.org.
